Last weekend Ingimar and I headed to Sonar Reykjavik down at Harpa. Sonar is an International Festival of Music, Creativity & Technology festival held in Reykjavik and Barcelona. I was lucky enough to be given a Press Pass to vlog the three-day event.
Sónar Reykjavik was intimate and proved that it's not always the largest stage and the biggest crowds that matter. Iceland is a small country. Harpa, a small venue. The lineup, well, it was epic. There were around 3,500 guests across the 3-day festival held at Harpa - the two main stages were used along with and a smaller seated concert hall was used, and the car park was turned into a nightclub with local and international DJs performing. The line up mixed international artists with the most current of Iceland’s thriving music scene. And it was a massive success.
