Multiplayer Online Dungeon Adventure Fellowship Announced

Taking elements from beloved MMOs, MOBAs, and ARPGs, Chief Rebel’s debut title Fellowship is setting out to be the first-ever multiplayer online dungeon adventure (“MODA”).

Fellowship will pay host to thrilling endgame dungeon runs, a diverse hero roster, cooperative, team-focused gameplay and epic loot. 

The team at Chief Rebel is setting out to give players a truly unique and challenging yet accessible PvE dungeon crawling experience.

Based out of Stockholm, Sweden, Chief Rebel brings together industry veterans that previously worked on iconic franchises like World of Warcraft, Diablo, Helldivers, Battlefield, The Division, and Just Cause.

Axel Lindberg, CEO and Game Director at Chief Rebel, said the following:

“We’re very excited to introduce Fellowship, a passion project that we’ve been working on for a long time since we formed Chief Rebel. With Fellowship, we took inspiration from many games that we love to create a dungeon adventure that lets players jump right into the best part of MMOs and ARPGs, end-game dungeons, right from the start with ease. Fellowship will be a constantly evolving adventure, and we want players of it from the very beginning, so we can’t wait for players to join us for our Closed Alpha playtest!” 

Yoon Im, CEO of Arc Games, added:

“Fellowship marks the beginning of a new genre that aims to modernize the traditional MMO gameplay experience, making it a potential game changer in our industry. We are thrilled to leverage our extensive online multiplayer and MMO expertise to support Chief Rebel on this ambitious new video game. The Closed Alpha test is just the beginning for Fellowship, as we have a lot of incredible content and features to unveil as we look toward a PC launch next year.”

Fellowship will be a premium, not free-to-play or subscription-based title. The title is set to release for the PC in 2025.

Closed Alpha Testing for Fellowship will begin on August 15 at 7 a.m. PT, running to August 20 at 5 p.m PT. This playtest will give players the chance to experience six heroes (two Tank, two DPS, two Healer heroes), take on dungeon runs and challenging enemies, and acquire epic loot.
