One Piece Odyssey Now Available for Nintendo Switch

Players will be able to join Monkey D. Luffy and his crew on the Nintendo Switch with the recent release of ILCA and Bandai Namco’s One Piece Odyssey for the platform.

Created to commemorate One Piece’s 25th anniversary (has it really been that long?!), One Piece Odyssey was created with direct involvement from Author Eiichiro Oda.

Featuring an original storyline, One Piece Odyssey features the Straw Hat Pirates in action, including the likes of Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook.

This turn-based RPG uses a “Scramble Area Battle” system for its combat, interspersed with more traditional menu commands.

Featuring several areas, this lets players optimize the position of their party members as they set out to counter opponents. In true RPG fashion, players can earn XP and level up.
