Predator: Hunting Grounds
It’s hunt or be hunted in Sony Interactive Entertainment and illfonic’s asymmetrical shooter Predator: Hunting Grounds. Players will have the choice of either being a member of an elite Fireteam as they complete paramilitary operations, or take on the role of the Scout, Hunter, and Berserker class of Predators. We’re especially looking forward to playing as the Predator, which features deadly alien tech like camouflage, the plasma caster, wrist blades, smart discs, the combistick, and the Yautja bow.
Predator: Hunting Grounds will come out for the PlayStation 4 on April 24, 2020
Trials of Mana
A remake of the 1995 Super Famicom action RPG Seiken Densetsu 3, Trials of Mana packs on the story with three main plotlines and six different possible Hero characters. Featuring a top-down perspective, players will feature character level progression, a class system, and a calendar system. We’re especially looking forward to getting lost in its story, which is set after 2007’s Heroes of Mana.
Trials of Mana will come out for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 24, 2020.
Sakura Wars
The sixth mainline entry in SEGA’s long-running series, Sakura Wars is set to arrive stateside in April. An amalgamation of action RPG, dating simulation, and visual novel elements, players will take on the role of Seijuro Kamiyama as he leads the Imperial Combat Revue through fights against demons and a worldwide tournament of Combat Revues. We’re especially looking forward to the dialog this title will feature, which utilizes the LIPS system.
Sakura Wars will come out for the PlayStation 4 on April 28, 2020.
Resident Evil 3
A remake of the 1999 PlayStation 1 classic, Capcom’s Resident Evil 3 has series mainstay Jill Valentine team up with Carlos Oliveira in order to survive a zombie apocalypse in Raccoon City and fight off the intelligent bioweapon known only as Nemesis. Much like 2019’s Resident Evil 2, this release will feature third-person shooter gameplay in lieu of the original tank controls. We’re especially looking forward to diving into its online multiplayer mode Resident Evil: Resistance.
Resident Evil 3 will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2020.
Final Fantasy VII Remake
After countless years of teasers, delays, and anticipation, the first part of Square-Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake is set to arrive in April. Just like the original, players will take control of Cloud Strife as he joins AVALANCHE to take on the evil Shinra Corporation. Those familiar with the 1997 PlayStation 1 classic will be able to experience an altered Active Time Battle (ATB) system with real time action. We’re especially looking forward to seeing the recreation of Midgar for a new generation of gamers.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will come out for the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020.
