A quick note on Outposts. Although you can build Outposts very early in the game, you cannot assign Crew members to Outposts without building the Crew Station at the Outpost. Removing, adding, or changing crew members is very easy. Open the main menu and then navigate to the Ship menu in the bottom left. Once you’re in the bottom left menu, check the bottom right of the screen for the Crew button. This is Y on the Xbox. This brings up a list of all Crew member and their current assignments.
