Cosplay Wednesday – Guilty Gear’s I-No

I-No Cosplay – Gamers Heroes

Guilty Gear is ready to rock once again this December when the long-awaited Guilty Gear Xrd: -SIGN- makes its debut. While fans eagerly await their chance to ride the lightning, Gamers Heroes takes a look at a cosplay of Guilty Gear’s I-No.

Cosplay veteran HezaChan decided to do something different with her I-No costume. Rather than base it off of one version of the character, she took the best elements from each of her Guilty Gear appearances to make the ultimate costume. Everything in her outfit was made from scratch, with the fabric coming right out of Joann’s Halloween clearance rack. Although she admits that the dress was a challenge to make, she likes how the rings and buckles came together for the overall look.

To complete the look, she got ahold of a guitar prop custom-made by her friend Nick Accristo. The shoot was done in her friend’s basement, where the random wires, sawdust, where she said the random cobwebs added some style to the shots. Special thanks to Claire Iverson-Burt for the pictures!

You can find HezaChan on DeviantArt here, on Facebook here, and on Twitter here.

Casey Scheld has more than 15 years of experience in the gaming industry as a community manager, social media director, event specialist, and (of course) gaming editor. He has previously worked with gaming start-ups like Raptr, publishers like Konami, and roller derby girls at PAX West (check out Jam City Rollergirls)! Gamers Heroes is a passion project for him, giving him a chance to tap into the underground side of gaming. He is all too eager to give these lesser-known heroes of the indie space the attention they so rightly deserve, seeking out the next gem and sharing it with the world. Previously making appearances at events like CES, GDC, and (the late) E3, he is all too happy to seek out the next big thing.
