Cosplay Wednesday – Fire Emblem’s Tharja

The upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS might have a good four reps from the Fire Emblem series, but there is one fan favorite that is still noticeably absent: Tharja. Her chances to enter the brawl might be slim to none at this point, but she is not forgotten among fans. This week, we take a look at not one, but two excellent Tharja cosplays.

German cosplayer Kana has made more than 100 cosplay outfits to date, stating that the art means so much to her. Even though she was not completely satisfied with her Tharja cosplay (she does not think of herself as a good fit for the character), I’m sure you’ll agree that the ensemble came together quite well.

Italian cosplayer GameVip is also a fan of the Fire Emblem series — and a serious cosplayer. Her Fire Emblem Tharja cosplay was also made from scratch, compiled of things she already had like the cape and wig. Ironically, GameVip’s favorite Fire Emblem character is Cordelia — however, she has plans to cosplay her as well.

He is all too eager to give these lesser-known heroes of the indie space the attention they so rightly deserve, seeking out the next gem and sharing it with the world. Previously making appearances at events like CES, GDC, and (the late) E3, he is all too happy to seek out the next big thing.
