Tales of Kenzera: ZAU Launch Trailer Released

Players will set out to reclaim their father’s spirit with the upcoming release of Surgent Studios and EA Original’s Tales of Kenzera: ZAU – see what’s to come with the launch trailer for the game.

A poignant single-player MetroidVania-style title, Tales of Kenzera: ZAU will transport players to unknown mythological lands. Along the way, players will be able to wield cosmic powers with its rhythmic combat.

To go alongside this launch trailer, a new short film was also created. Produced in partnership with Ridley Scott Creative Group, the video explores why Abuakar Salim set out to create Tales of Kenzera: ZAU.

Abuakar Salim had to say the following:

“Many of you have noticed that Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is supported by Ridley Scott Associates. Today I’m proud to reveal what that means. Over the past few months, I’ve written and directed my first short film with the support and guidance of RSA Films. It tells the real story behind ZAU, showing how hard it is to reach out. To try to connect to others while you’re going through it. To make the choice to be seen. I’m honoured to share this piece of myself with you now. It’s the ideal primer for Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, and it’s my love letter to my father and to everyone out there who holds the pain of loss in their heart.”
