With all of the items needed to open the Dark Aether Rift, there are two main tasks. You need to first find the item and then you need to transform the item into a legendary item so it works on the Rift. We’ll explain how to complete both of these steps for the Dog Collar in MWZ below.

Where To Find The Dog Collar In MWZ


To get the purple version of the Dog Collar you need to find a Kennel and place a Molotov and piece of meat inside. This will spawn a Hellhound. Kill the Hellhound and it will drop a purple collar. To turn the collar gold, find an Aether Tear and travel into the sky. You will see another portal in the sky, head into that portal. From there, you will find a nearby unique bounty mission. Take the bounty and kill the target. Loot the Aether Reward Portal to find the golden version of the Dog Collar.

How To Open The Dark Aether Rift
