Rygjafylke Books Of Knowledge Locations
This melee attack ability immediately attacks all enemies within range with throwing axes
This is a ranged ability that, when successfully shot at an enemy, will instantly put them to sleep.
Slam your enemy into the ground and pummel them with blows
Hordafylke Books Of Knowledge Locations
There is a house here. Outside the house there’s a pen of pigs. Search the pen for a key inside a hay pile on the floor. Then, nearby there’s a large net hanging with some boulders inside. Shoot the top of the net to release the boulders and access the cellar below. Head inside to get this book.
Ledecestrescire Books Of Knowledge Locations
At this location there is a ladder leading down into some ruins. You have to smash through a wooden wall and then blow up a stone wall with the nearby fire jars. It’s a melee ability that harpoons an enemy and then tosses them in a direction of your choosing.
At this settlement, there is a locked underground passageway. You can find the key on a table inside the longhouse. Allows you to use the Raven to distract enemies.
Shoot an arrow that can penetrate nearly any obstacle
You access these crypts during the main story mission, Titling the Balance. Slows down time and allows for rapid firing of your bow
Grantebridgescire Books Of Knowledge Locations
There is a monastery raid here on the map. Complete it, and take the tunnel under the monastery to find the skill book. Break down the wooden doors with your melee attack. This is a jumping attack that has you lunge at an opponent.
In this Monastery at this location. Inside the huge tower. It upgrades the Mark of Death ability.
Found inside the large building at the encampment in this area. Allows you fire explosive arrows that detonate on touch
Inside a locked hut at this location. Melee ability that allows you to charge, grab, and throw enemies.
East Anglia Books Of Knowledge Locations
This one can be found in Dunwic, a castle on the East Coast. There is a piece of floor just above the book that you can break with nearby explosive pots. Before dropping down, search the nearby table for the key.
Another Book of Knowledge in East Anglia, this one can be found upstairs in a small house. A ranged ability that allows you to aim and throw a barrage of axes.
The final Book of Knowledge in East Anglia can be found here, right at the Fast Travel point. In the center of the ruined tower is some floor you can destroy. This allows you to use stamina to move undetected, as if invisible.
Ravensthorpe Books Of Knowledge Locations
This is not a Book of Knowledge but it’s an ability you can unlock. After you have unlocked the Seers Hut settlement upgrade and have completed East Anglia, Grantebridgescire, and Ledecestrescire on the Alliance Map, you may find a young child in the Longhouse at your base. Speak to the child to start A Little Problem quest. Complete the quest to learn the ability. It lets you send a wolf to attack an enemy
You must have built the
Hidden Ones Bureau settlement upgrade and then hand in 5 Order Medallions by killing 5 members of the order. You then get taught Poison Strike which is both a Ranged and Melee ability that lets you tip your weapon in poison.
You must build the
Hidden Ones Bureau settlement upgrade and hand in the second set of medals to unlock Fire Strike. It applies fire to your right hand weapon. It also unlocks Ranged Fire Strike to set arrows ablaze.
When you hand in 9 Order Medallions, you will learn the upgrade for this ability
Hand in the next batch of Order Medallions, after Poison Strike, to unlock the level 2 upgrade for Fire Strike.
Oxenefordscire Books Of Knowledge Locations
You can find this one inside the large enemy encampment in Oxenefordscire. To access the room, go under the wooden tower directly next to the building and then climb up inside.
You can find this one at an enemy camp in West Oxenefordscire, you have to visit this location as part of the story. Allows you to fool enemies by playing dead, attracting them to your location.
This one is found in the small town of Oxeneforda in Oxenefordscire, the key is inside the church that you access via a stain glass window you can break. Vengeance of Thor is a powered up heavy attack that can be charged for greater power
Sciropescire Books Of Knowledge Locations
This one is inside the walls of X. You cannot enter the area with the Book of Knowledge until you have progressed far enough into the story. One of the story missions has you assault the castle, once that is complete. I was unable to find any explosive jars but you can use the Incendiary Powder Trap skill to blow open the wall that blocks the book.
Jorvik Books Of Knowledge Locations
You can find this Book of Knowledge in the tower of the Archives. To access the room with the book you need to stand outside, on the wooden scaffolding, next to the man that is applying paste to the wall. You can use the window inside to shoot a latch holding some crates in the air. This drops the crates, destroying them and allowing access from within the Archive building.
Essexe Books Of Knowledge Locations
Found inside an enemy camp at this location.
This Book of Knowledge can be found in Colcestre in Essexe. There is a key in a room behind curtains and metal bars. Search the exterior walls of the church, there’s a shelving unit you can move that gives you access.
Cent Books Of Knowledge Locations
You can find this Book of Knowledge in the South East area of Cent, at Dover Fortress. It’s in a locked room, the key is at the top of the huge tower right next to it.
The other Book of Knowledge in Cent is in the opposite area, in the North West of the region. It’s in an enemy encampment but nothing to worry about.
Lincolnscire Books Of Knowledge Locations
The first one in this region can be found in Lincoln, right near the fast travel location. It’s in a large house, the access is via the roof.
This one can be found just to the East of Lincoln, inside a large enemy encampment.
Suthsexe Books Of Knowledge Locations
You can find this Book of Knowledge in the North West corner of the Suthsexe region.
The second Book of Knowledge in Suthsexe can be found in Briggworth.
Eurvicscire Books Of Knowledge Locations
You can find this one just North East of Donecaestre. Lets you shoot a poison trap arrow.
The other Book of Knowledge in this location can be found along the river going East, inside an enemy fortification. It’s a slash and then large knock back attack.
Wincestre Books Of Knowledge Locations
You can find this Book of Knowledge in the city of Wincestre, in the Wincestre Garrison.
Glowecestrescire Books Of Knowledge Locations
You can find the first Book of Knowledge in this region to the North West of Glowecestre. Grab the treasure key from one of the guards and enter the treasure room. There’s a secret entrance behind a banner in the equipment chest room.
The second Book of Knowledge in this region can be found at a thieves camp here. The entrance to the house is underneath, follow the small stream that surrounds the house and you can come up from below.
Snotinghamscire Books Of Knowledge Locations
The first Book of Knowledge in this region can be found in the high tower of a castle at this location. Enter through the main door at the foot of the tower, climb up the stairs to the room with the book. Then go outside the window on the next floor to shoot through and release the door.
The final Book of Knowledge to be found in the open world can be found in the North West corner of Snotinghamscire. The book is underground. Where I am standing is an entrance to a mine, via a very long shaft. That’s your way in.
