Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe Returning to San Diego July 25

The Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe is speeding back to San Diego in time for San Diego Comic-Con starting July 25. 

A three-month pop-up eatery, this version of the Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe serves as the fourth iteration of the exclusive collaboration between SEGA and Secret Sauce Society’s Andy Nguyen, Kevin Seo, and Phillip Huynh. 

Exclusive Sonic-themed menu items and custom Sonic-themed packaging and merchandise will be available throughout the pop-up.

Items at the Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe include the following:

  • Sonic the Hedgehog’s Classic Chili Dog;
  • Spicy fried chicken Knuckles Sandwich;
  • Piko Piko Tenders
  • Golden Ring onion rings
  • Fast Fries
  • Blue Blur blueberry slush (Sonic)
  • Smashing Echidna fruit punch slush (Knuckles)
  • Team Dark mocha milkshake (Shadow)

Launching in San Diego in 2023, pop-up shops for the Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe have also made an appearance near both Los Angeles and Houston.

This immersive pop-up will take over a Chick’NCone location, which will revert to Chick’NCone after the pop-up. Fans can find it at the following address:

Note that a live Sonic Symphony performance will also take place on July 27 at the San Diego Civic Center. The custom Shadow-inspired motorcycle will also cruise around the Gaslamp District from July 27-28.
