When you try and select characters in multiplayer, you may notice a “locked by campaign progress” prompt. This means that the character is currently unavailable because you haven’t progressed far enough into the campaign. You need to reach certain points within the campaign before you can select specific characters in the multiplayer modes.
- Start single player campaign
- Follow the main campaign until you rescue Jarvis
- Jarvis gives you a mission to head to the Snowy Tundra
- As soon as you access the Snowy Tundra mission, you unlock Hulk.
- You can now select Hulk in multiplayer
How To Unlock Hulk In Marvel’s Avengers
Hulk is the first character you unlock in Marvel’s Avengers. You need to follow the main story until you find and rescue Jarvis. Jarvis will then send you on a mission to the Snowy Tundra. You don’t have to complete the mission to unlock the Hulk. Simply select the mission. Once the mission is selected and you’re on the start screen, you will see a prompt that informs you that Hulk has been unlocked.

You can now return to the War Table in multiplayer and change your character to the Hulk.
