How To Increase Carry Capacity In Starfield

There are a few ways you can increase your carry capacity, but they all take time.

Weight Lifting Perk
This perk does what it says, increases your carry capacity. The first level is kind of weak, but beyond that it gives big bonuses. If you have the extra points you should take two or three levels of this one.

Upgrade Armor
If you get the armor mod skills you can use that to upgrade your suit and jetpack for more weight. You need level two of suit mod skill, but you get other upgrades with that as well.

Companion
Any companions you have with you can be used as pack mules. Just talk to them, and tell them you want them to hold some stuff. Give the companion what you want and then pick it up again later.

You can also get bonuses from certain food and drinks, but they are not permanent.
