Hello Kitty Island Adventure New Event and Music Collaboration Announced

Setting out to embrace friendship and positivity, Sunblink and Sanrio is celebrating the first year anniversary of Hello Kitty Island Adventure with a new event and a music collaboration.

As part of the International Day of Friendship on July 30, the Friendship Festival, Hello Kitty Island Adventure will run an in-game celebration through August 8.

During this time, players can hang out with besties Cinnamoroll, Keroppi, Retsuko, and others, all while taking daily photos to gain friendship charms. Once you have said charms, players can bring them to the Friendship Photo Booth to unlock new emotes and Hello Kitty and Friends-themed clothing rewards.

This update for Hello Kitty Island Adventure also introduces a new line of looks for NPCs and players. This is on top of an additional companion slot that allows for two companions simultaneously.

Rounding things out is a collaboration with award-winning composer Phill Boucher, who has teamed up with pop musician MYLK to create an original song celebrating everything Friendship. Players will be able to unlock the original pop single and unprecedented in-game sequence in a new musical surprise.
